Free gifts with Red Mobiles – the White PSP 3000
The latest version of the Playstation Portable (PSP) has been in the UK market for over 6 months now, and the white PSP is proving to be a popular free gift with red mobile phone contracts. Apparently in a few months Sony will be releasing the next generation of the PSP called the white PSP Go which I am sure will turn out to be in the free gifts selection soon after it hits the market.
Returning back to the present, the latest version is called the white PSP 3000 and has a number of improvements over the previous Sony PSP’s including a brighter screen and a microphone. The brighter screen also deals much better with backlight and glare making it an even better option for watching videos and playing games in well lit areas. Sony also sorted out the contrast ratio which means that the colours look sharper as well.
Apparently lots of gamers were using a microphone accessory for the white PSP to chat to each other while online playing multi-player games, so the designers thought that it would be cool to include a mike on the PSP. The PSP can use voice-over-ip technologies like Skype to make chatting easier.
There is also a red PSP and a and pink PSP but not many of the mobile phone retailers appear to be offering it as an option, so you will have to stick with the white PSP! For now… Enjoy your multi-media and gaming when you decide to buy a red mobile phone with the PSP free gift.
